Good understanding of Micro Services Architecture
Good knowledge of concepts and troubleshooting for K8s & Docker focussing on AKS & ACI
Hands-on experience on the administration of Linux and Windows Servers
Experience in maintaining a large number of Production service & microservices
Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure Automation using ARM templates, Terraform (Mandatory for Sr. SRE)
Hands-on experience with Monitoring systems - Azure Monitor/Metrics - ELK+Grafana (or) DataDog (or) Appdynamics (or) Splunk
Production Servers and Services Support experience in above-mentioned areas is mandatory
Process: Troubleshooting and Resolution
Being in charge of resolving all issues concerning Azure Cloud services/applications based on predefined processes and runbooks
Follow standard procedures to troubleshoot and resolve any issues concerning Azure - network, servers, services, applications
Participate in the knowledge sharing sessions with DevOps/Development team wrt architecture development and design of Azure Troubleshooting aspects.
Alarm Handling and Escalation
The principal role is troubleshooting all the technical and quality-related issues wrt to Infrastructure and applications
Monitoring of Infrastructure via Azure Monitor, Metrics or Microservices via DataDog.
NOC engineers must approach the Sr. Cloud Engineers/SRE/DevOps for assistance in case the incidents are not in the scope of their work.
They must simultaneously maintain communication with the relevant stakeholders and the team to ensure they remain updated on any issues.
Ability to keep the stakeholders updated with progress being made in and around resolutions.
